While driving in the Londonderry area of south-central Vermont, I spotted a pretty river scene and waded through undergrowth and brush to get to the bank. When I got there, however, the lighting wasn't quite what I hoped it would be, and I couldn't get an image that I particularly liked. As I turned around to go back to the car, I spotted these brilliant red leaves, which I believe are red oak seedlings, still covered with morning dew.
