Captive Audience -- Old Faithful from Observation Point Observation Point is a hill about 250 feet high near Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin. It's a short but somewhat steep hike up the hill, but definitely worth it for the eagle's eye view it gives you of the basin and surrounding area. It also gives you a unique opportunity to observe Old Faithful blowing its top from <i>above</i>.<br>

As you can see here, if you go to see Old Faithful during the middle of the day in the summer, you never have to worry about being lonely. ;)
