Several interesting bridges span the Merced River along the Yosemite Valley, many themselves made of gray granite similar to the formations that tower over them. (Part of this bridge is visible at lower right.)
In the background here you can see two more Yosemite landmarks: the Royal Arches (natural arcs in the stone wall on the left) and above them, the rounded form of North Dome.
