What's great about getting Desktop SceneSets is
that not only do they contain beautiful images that you can enjoy for a lifetime,
they come in a software package that is versatile, easy to use, and even
fun! Here are some of the most important general features of Desktop
SceneSets:
- Versatility: Desktop SceneSets can be used as either a screensaver that runs automatically when your PC is idle, or a stand-alone
slideshow that you run only when you want to see it.
- Ease of Use: Desktop SceneSets are easy to use; just download
and run!
- Simple Installation: It takes only two mouse clicks to
install a SceneSet as your default screensaver. If you want to run a
SceneSet without making it your screensaver, no installation is required
at all!
- Support for Most PC/Windows Systems: Desktop SceneSets will
work on most PCs running Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP.
- Universal Screen Resolution Support: Desktop SceneSets are
optimized for 1024x768 screen resolution, one of the most common
settings.
However, they will run on other common resolutions as well, such as
800x600, 1400x1050, 1600x1080 (wide-screen) and so on.
- Multiple SceneSets Supported: You can install multiple
SceneSets and then switch between them quickly when you feel like a
"change of scenery".
- No Distractions: You view your high-quality images without names,
copyright notices or other distractions to interrupt your enjoyment.
Last but certainly not least, Desktop SceneSets give you
flexibility. After you install a Desktop SceneSet as your
screensaver, you are in control of how your images are displayed!
Using the Windows Control Panel, you can do all of the following:
- Set Image Display Time: Adjust the number of seconds each
image is displayed to suit your tastes.
- Enable Random or Sequential Display: You can choose to view
the photos randomly or in a pre-assigned order.
- Enable Image Enlargement: If you are running a SceneSet on a
monitor with a resolution higher than the SceneSet's default resolution,
you can tell the software to automatically stretch the images to fit
your screen, or turn off that function.
- Enable Image Captions: Each image includes a short title that
describes briefly what it is. By default these are disabled, but you can
turn them on if you want to see them.
- Select From Over 80 Cool Transition Effects: The
SceneSets are set up to transition from one image to the next using a smooth "fade"
effect -- but there are over 80 additional transitions you can choose from.
Some of them are really fun to watch!
- Select Transition Time: You decide how quickly one image
transitions to the next.
- Change the Screensaver Exit Controls: You determine whether
or not mouse movement ends the display of images.
